About Linksys
The company was founded in 1988 by couple Victor Tsao and Janie Tsao, who were masters in computer science and had developed a system whereby multiple computers could share printers. They marketed these products to businesses and corporations from their home, but quickly rose to success. By the early 90s they had expanded into Ethernet hubs, network cards and various linking cables, and forged relationships with retailers like Fry's Electronics.
