About Gravity Defyer
Gravity Defyer was born out of necessity when its founder Alexander Elnekaveh’s 14 year old nephew was left unable to walk without pain follow heel cancer surgery. This prompted the entrepreneur to assemble the best team he could find to design the ultimate comfort shoe.
The company was founded in 2008 and since then they have developed several brands of comfort shoes for athletic to casual purposes.
Gravity Defyer Sells
The Gravity Defyer selection caters to both men and women and includes Sports Shoes, Casual, Boat Shoes, Boots, Sandals, Oxfords, Loafers, Women's Flats, and Clogs & Mules. You can also purchase accessories such as orthotics insoles.
All of Gravity Defyer's specially designed shoes are made for comfort and health, allowing for toe wriggle room, smooth and soft linings so as not to hurt the ankle, shock absorbing technology to reduce tension, naturally shaped soles for added support, and non slip bottoms to prevent accidents.
The site allows you to browse via categories, including a sales page, and search bar. Product listings can also be sorted by shoe size, width, price range, popularity, color, purpose (running, casual etc), material (leather or microfiber), and specific features.
Payment Methods
GravityDefyer.com accepts payments from most major credit cards, including Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Discover, as well as their own branded gift cards for all or part of your order. If you send in a mail order you can also use Money Orders, and Personal & Cashier's checks.
Shipping Options
Currently Gravity Defyer only cater to US and Canadian customers, with shipping handled by FedEx and USPS respectively. Within the US Standard Ground costs a flat rate of $9.95 regardless of the size of the order, and will take up to 10 business days. You can also pay extra for 2nd Day and Next Day options.
Orders to Canada can take up to 14 days to arrive.
Return Policy
Gravity Defyer operate a 30 day returns policy starting from the day of purchase. You can opt for a refund, exchange or store credit, so long as the shoes are in their brand new condition and are sent in their original packaging. All orders ship with a returns form that must be filled out and included in the package.
Their shoes also fall under a 60 day warranty allowing you to get a replacement should they become damaged within 60 days.
