About Eastern Mountain Sports
In 1979, Eastern Mountain Sports was sold to the Franklin Mint, which was later acquired by Warner communications. Warner communications later sold Eastern Mountain Sports to the American Retail Group. Since its inception, the company has undergone tremendous growth with the hallmark being in 2003 when its new president Will Manzer shifted it back to its outdoor gear speciality.
In 2004, the American Retail Group sold the company to investors led by J.H. Whitney and company. Eight years later, Eastern Mountain Sports was sold to Versa Capital Management. Today, the Eastern Mountain Sports line of products includes outdoor equipment and clothing from both name brands and Eastern Mountain Sports line. The company also offers training in ice climbing, standup paddle boarding, trekking, Kayaking and skiing.
Will Manzer currently serves as CEO of the company, and there are over 65 retail locations across the US, as well as an online store at EMS.com.
Eastern Mountain Sports Sells
At Eastern Mountain Sports, you can buy your outdoor gear that includes shirts, outdoor and casual pants, jackets, Sweaters and sweatshirts, snow pants, underwear, fleece clothing, footwear and accessories, bras, skirts, swimwear, clothing for toddlers and infants and outdoor sports gear for kids.
The company also offers hiking gear and camping equipment, climbing gear, paddle sports gear, cycling gear, snow sports equipment, car racks and travel bags and accessories. Prices differ with a product type and category with some products retailing as low as $7 and others as high as $400.

Eastern Mountain Sports accept payments through America Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Online Gift Certificates, Bill Me Later, Google Checkout and PayPal.
Shipping Options
Eastern Mountain Sports currently only accept orders from the United States and Canada, including Alaska, Hawaii, APO & FPO addresses, and other US territories.
Standard shipping on orders over $48 is free, or below this it's a flat fee of $6.99 within the 48 continental states, and $12.99 to Alaska & Hawaii. Orders will arrive within 2 to 7 business days, and up to 14 days to other territories.
Second Day shipping costs $19.99 and is only available in the contiguous states. The same goes for Next Day shipping which costs $29.99, and Saturday shipping which costs $39.99.
Shipping to Canada via UPS is a flat rate of $27.99, and can take up to 4 weeks.
Return Policy
Eastern Mountain Sports offer a full one year returns policy, allowing you to return unwanted items in their original condition, within 365 days of purchase. This excludes "final sale" or "as is" items. You will have to cover your own return shipping costs unless you received the order in a damaged or defective condition. Packages should be addressed to:
